I've started getting some spam comments, so I've changed the way comments come through. My apologies for the extra step involved now. I just would hate to see someone get a virus or something from clicking on a link that is in my comments section.
I do appreciate all the real comments being left. Thank you, everyone.
My knitting has kinda been put on hold. We're planning a move in a month or two, so I've been busy packing up a few things and getting ready for a yard sale. Hopefully I'll be able to knit a bit this weekend. :)

Really not having much luck....
Well, I had to frog my tree-shaped dishcloth. I messed up when trying to cast on stitches in the middle. I don't know how to do that, and when I tried, I ended up purling instead of knitting the next few stitches. Since I haven't figure out how to work backwards to correct mistakes, I had to start over. I decided to leave the tree-shaped one until I'm able to figure out how to cast on in the middle of a piece. I started working on a pumpkin dishcloth. We'll see if I can do any better with it.

Not making much progress...
Well, I frogged (I believe that's the right term) the second baby bib I was working on. I was doing it in the seed stitch and decided I didn't like how it was turning out. I've also had to put a hold on my alphabet blanket. I realized that the letters were not all the same size in stitches and rows. I would hate to get them all done and then not be able to piece it all together correctly. I'm going to start looking for a book that has the letters in it and try again sometime soon. I am working on a tree-shaped dishcloth right now, and I have a pattern for a poncho for Dalton that I want to try making soon. I at least have a few things to keep me busy. :) Just thought I'd update. Haven't had the chance to knit as much as I would like lately.

Knit & Purl Hearts Dishcloth
Well, this is the dishcloth I finished while on vacation. I don't think it's my greatest one, but I might get better if I do it again. It was from the "Love to Knit Dishcloths" booklet from Leisure Arts (written by Evelyn A. Clark). I used plain white Peaches & Creme yarn on it. Nothing spectacular on this one. I'll have to try it again sometime. It was a good practice one since it had a lot of counting and switching of stitches.
I'm now working on a bib for a friend who is pregnant. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it tonight. If I do, I'll try to post it tonight. :-)
