My "D" block--part of my alphabet blanket
I feel I must say this--my table is not green! I had to mess with the colors a bit to get the D to show up on the block. Ok, I feel better now...onto the post. hee hee
I finished my first letter for my alphabet blanket. I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn for this. I'm a little worried about making all the letters and then not being able to piece them together correctly. I don't know why my sides seem a bit wonky. I'm hoping that washing it a few times will make it look a bit better. I'm not really sure how I'm going to proceed with this. I guess I can knit up a few more and try to knit them together. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!! :)

Acrylic doesn't block. It doesn't have a "memory." So, blocking won't help. However, I bet once it's pieced together it'll look fine. I'm not sure of a way you can knit the blocks together. You can definitely chain stitch them. Good luck!
Wow, Michelle! You're just whipping along and you barely just started knitting! I love the alphabet block baby blanket idea. Can't wait to see the finished project.
