Grandmother's Favorite Dishcloth

Well, I tackled another dishcloth. I guess I like doing dishcloths because they don't seem to take too long to do (and I'm still trying to get down some of the stitches). This one allowed me to practice YO and K2tog. I know I was too tight on my stitches, and it didn't help that it was hot and I was sweating and the yarn was sticking to my hands (wow, talk about a run-on sentence....my grammer teachers would be mortified!). I did Grandmother's Favorite Dishcloth. I know the pattern is posted in a few places, but I got it from here. I used Peaches & Creme yarn, color 201 (Sea Mist). I think I'm going to try doing another one and see if it flows a bit easier. This one only took me two days to complete (ok, so I still have to turn the ends under, but it's almost 100% complete). I'm wondering if it will look more square after it's first washing. Maybe it pulled too hard while I was finishing it up and that's why it looks a bit more like a kite? At least this pattern was very easy to memorize, and it is easy to adapt to any size. I might try making some smaller ones for face cloths.

Ok, that's all from me for now. I'm going to head off and do a bit of knitting while my son falls asleep. Hopefully I'll be posting again soon!
